Founded in 1992, edcom today supports customers as a complete solution provider with consulting, solutions, services and training in the areas of IBM and HCL software as well as with services on the Microsoft and Atlassian platforms.
In addition to development, managed services, support, infrastructure maintenance, training for developers, administrators and end users / power users, the services also include license sales and license management.
The system house is based in Munich and currently employs 35 people.
Partnerships for optimal customer support
edcom specializes in the topics of communication, collaboration and messaging, modern software development, security and operation of hybrid infrastructures. This includes the setup and maintenance of the required infrastructures including operation and hosting as well as the development of specialized applications (e.g. Java, Domino, XPages, node.js, web technologies ...), the migration of messaging systems as well as the migration to the Cloud.
The Business Consulting Team of edcom supports companies in building a successful communication strategy for the company with all the necessary steps and in all phases. edcom has been an IBM Business Partner since the beginning of 1990, and HCL Business Partner from 2019. As an HCL Business Partner, edcom supports HCL Digital Solutions - Connections, Domino, Notes, Sametime, Traveler, Verse and other products transitioned from IBM to HCL in July 2019.
In addition, other partnerships with Microsoft and Atlassian, as well as a number of 3rd party vendors, complete the support for customers.
In the course of the merger of TIMETOACT with edcom and X-INTEGRATE, the TIMETOACT GROUP was created in August 2007. The TIMETOACT GROUP comprises eight companies with over 600 employees at 13 locations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
